Life balance Pilates offering small friendly Mat Pilates classes in Surrey with regular members getting beneficial one on one teacher attention, maximum of 10 people per class.  Classes are mixed abilities for all ages, male and female, ranging from beginners to elite athletes.

Pilates is a complete exercise method developed by its founder, Joseph Pilates, who dedicated his lifetime to improving physical and mental health. Pilates focuses on building your body's core strength and improving your posture through a series of low repetition, low impact, stretching and conditioning exercises thereby developing an awareness of how your body works, by helping the mind and body to work in harmony.

I have been attending Jo’s Pilates class for over 2 years and always look forward to my friendly weekly session. The classes are small so Jo is attentive and ensures everybody’s needs are met. The exercises are varied each week and I can notice the benefits with improvement in my core strength, posture and tone.

Sutton tennis and squash club (sTSC) Pilates Beginners / Intermediate level, all classes mixed abilities.

  • Monday’s 6pm, 7pm & 8pm

  • Thursday’s 6pm and 7pm.

  • Classes are 55 minutes and run during school term time, typically 6 or 7 weeks.


  • £8.50 per session payable in advance if block booking 6 or more consecutive weeks.

  • £9.50 per session payable in advance if block booking for the term with specific dates away (maximum of 2 weeks).

  • £12 drop in / Pay as you go

One to one sessions available, including postural assessment and exercise plan at £40 per session

STSC - Advanced ABS_CORE conditioning: 

  • Thursday's 8pm, 30 MINUTE CLASS: Price £5 pay as you go.


Unused / missed classes; if you have prepaid and miss a class, you are welcome to attend a different class in the current term space permitted. No classes are to be carried forward or refunded, discretion will be applied in certain circumstances.
